Many platform portfolios load the work through JavaScript and leave very little readable text. Google indexes what it can, and an AI assistant needs exactly what is missing: text it can read and cite.

Title, client, year, category, tags and description. You change the order by moving each project up or down, and you decide what is visible and what is not.
Upload images straight from your computer and paste the video link if there is one. No template limits and no recompression.
You prepare the changes calmly and nothing goes live until you hit publish. Then it all goes up at once and the site updates itself in a couple of minutes.

The real questions from someone who has spent years on a platform.
Yes, and it is the most common case. Camila arrived with her design made in ReadyMag and we rebuilt it, adding the changes she could not make there. It works perfectly as a starting point.
Not if it is done properly. The same addresses are kept where possible and the ones that change are redirected, so neither Google nor anyone else lands on a broken page. In practice most platform portfolios have so little visibility that the move improves them.
What really makes a site yours is the domain. Design can be redone and code can be copied, but the address people and Google find you at can only be in one name, and that name has to be yours. If you already have one, great, and if it sits inside a platform it gets transferred into your name before we start. If you do not have one, we buy and register it for you — in your name, not ours. It is about €12 a year and we hand you the access.
From your own panel, at your-domain.com/admin. You log in with your email, add a project, upload the images or video, set its category and tags, change the order and leave it as a draft until you are ready. When you hit publish it all goes up at once and the site updates itself in a couple of minutes. No code and no need to write to us: it is included in both options.
The day-to-day — adding work, reordering it, taking it down — you do yourself from the panel, at no cost. Redoing design is quoted separately. What does not happen is the platform answer: "that cannot be done".
It depends on the option. If you own it outright with the one-off payment, hosting sits in your own account and in your name: for a portfolio the free plan of the provider we use is more than enough, and if one day it were not, you would see the cost directly with no middleman. If you choose to have us run it for the monthly fee, hosting is included and you do not have to deal with any of it.

You leave, and that is it. The domain, the code and the server accounts are in your name from day one: you just remove us as collaborators. If you would rather we hand it over ready for whoever comes next, we do that and we do not charge for it. No lock-in, no penalty, no hard feelings.

In the first year almost always yes, and that is worth saying. What changes is that here there is an end: one day you stop paying and the site is still yours. A subscription never ends, and if you ever stop paying it, nothing is left.
