The real questions from someone who has spent years on a platform.
Yes, and it is the most common case. Camila arrived with her design made in ReadyMag and we rebuilt it, adding the changes she could not make there. It works perfectly as a starting point.
Not if it is done properly. The same addresses are kept where possible and the ones that change are redirected, so neither Google nor anyone else lands on a broken page. In practice most platform portfolios have so little visibility that the move improves them.
Yes. The domain is yours and stays yours. If it was inside the platform, it gets transferred to your name before anything else.
It depends how much you change. If you publish often, we build you a panel so you add projects yourself. If you update twice a year, it usually works out better to ask and have us do it.
You ask and it gets done, quoted separately, or it is covered by maintenance if you have it. What does not happen is the platform answer: "that cannot be done".
It is yours and in your name. For a portfolio, the free plan of the provider we use is normally more than enough; if one day it is not, you see the cost directly, with no middleman.

In the first year almost always yes, and that is worth saying. What changes is that here there is an end: you pay once and the site is yours. A subscription never ends, and if you ever stop paying it, nothing is left.
