Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about how we work.

Fast Web is a web design and AI agency based in Barcelona, working remotely across Europe. We build businesses their own software to replace what they rent today: their website, table bookings, catalogue, appointments or portfolio, which live on platforms that charge every month or per customer. It’s all bespoke, the domain is in your name and the code is yours, and we maintain it. For companies, we also bring AI into their teams.

We don’t have an office open to the public. We’re based in Barcelona and work remotely with businesses in Spain and across Europe.

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the evolution of SEO. At Fast Web it comes with everything: we structure the site and its data so that AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity) understand your business and can cite it with the right facts. We don’t promise they will recommend you, because nobody controls that. We explain it in our AEO guide.

At Fast Web it depends on what the site has to do. A portfolio costs €480 as a one-off payment, or €290 plus €10/month if you’d rather we run it; a landing page, €620; a website with its own system, €1,500; and the Premium package with integrated AI, €2,500, all included. Development is paid once, with no commissions, and monthly maintenance is optional. The domain is in your name and the code is yours. Projects for companies, such as a 3D configurator for manufacturers or AI inside a team, are quoted separately and paid in phases: their starting prices are on our page for manufacturers.

Between one and four weeks depending on what it involves: a landing page takes about a week, a site with its own system two to three, and the Premium package three to four. The timeline is agreed in writing before we start.

It includes bespoke UX/UI design, frontend development in React, technical SEO optimisation (AEO), analytics integration (Google Analytics 4), domain setup and high-speed hosting. We deliver a turnkey digital product ready to attract clients.

Yes. Maintenance is monthly and optional: security updates, a daily database backup, small changes and technical support on working days. The details are on our support page.

We build exclusively with React (Next.js/Vite) and Tailwind CSS. No third-party plugins to keep patching, less code to load than a WordPress template, and technical SEO under control on every page.

We work in lines, and a line exists once there’s a client behind it: restaurants (direct bookings and menu), portfolios for artists and musicians, websites, 3D configurators and AI for manufacturers, booking systems for professionals and product catalogues for distributors.

Unlike delivery apps, which take a commission on every order, Fast Web builds your business its own infrastructure: you pay once for the development and the system is 100% yours, with no per-transaction commission. How much you save depends on what you pay today, and booking platforms don’t publish their rates: the only reliable figure is the one on your invoice. You can work it out with your own numbers in our platform cost calculator.

There are three in production, each one fitted to its business. Bookings come in from your own site at any hour, against your real availability: a taken slot is locked in the database and never given twice. Your rules (notice, duration, capacity and closures) are built into the system, and the customer gets a confirmation email, ready to add to their calendar. You can see all three on our bookings page.

Yes. If you have an existing site (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or other), we handle the full migration. This includes: moving all content (text, images, products, blog posts), redirecting old URLs so you don’t lose SEO ranking, and setting up the new domain with no downtime. The process usually takes 1 to 3 additional days depending on the volume of content.

By architecture, our sites are significantly more secure than WordPress: no exposed database and no vulnerable plugins. As standard we include: HTTPS with an automatically renewed SSL certificate, HTTP security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options), hosting on Vercel with a global edge network, and encrypted environment variables for credentials. On the maintenance plan we add regular dependency updates and monitoring of known vulnerabilities.

So there are no misunderstandings: we don’t build with WordPress, Shopify or other third-party CMSs. We don’t make native iOS or Android apps (only websites and web apps). We don’t manage advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads). We do take on graphic design, identity and print work: the studio grew out of design, and we look at it case by case. We also don’t offer our own hosting: we use Vercel, the most reliable infrastructure for Next.js. If you need something on this list, we point you to the right provider.

The code is 100% yours from day one. You can take it to any other provider or developer with no licence fees or penalties. If you have a maintenance plan, you simply cancel with 30 days’ notice. We hand over everything: the code repository, hosting access, credentials and basic project documentation.
