A website can cost very little or several thousand euros, and both can make sense. What doesn't make sense is comparing quotes without knowing what each one includes or what you'll keep paying afterwards, every month.

Search for how much a website costs and you'll find huge ranges and tables that don't say where they come from. We're not going to invent a market price for you. Here's what we charge, which is published, and how to read any quote, ours included.

What we charge

October 2026 prices, excluding VAT.

PackagePriceTimelineFor
Landing€620About a weekOne page, with a contact form, technical SEO and AEO. Each extra page, €120
Web + system€1,5002 to 3 weeksSeveral pages and your own system with a dashboard, for example for bookings
Premium€2,5003 to 4 weeksAll of the above, with custom AI. Can be paid in instalments
PortfolioFrom €290For artists, photographers and musicians (portfolios)

The first three include the domain and hosting for the first year. You pay half when we start and half on delivery, and you get the quote in writing before we start. Anything outside what we agreed is quoted separately, before we do it.

Maintenance is optional and starts at €20 a month: security updates, daily backups, uptime monitoring and support Monday to Friday. If you don't take it, the website is still yours, but updates and backups become your job. The details of each package are on our pricing page.

What makes a website cost more

Almost always, five things:

  1. How many pages. One page that explains what you do isn't the same as ten with services, case studies and contact.
  2. Whether the site has to do something. A site people only look at costs less than one that takes bookings, shows a catalogue or books appointments, and also has a dashboard so you can change it yourself.
  3. Languages. Each language is one more version to write, review and maintain.
  4. The material. If you have texts, photos and a logo, everything goes faster. If they need making, that's another job.
  5. What happens afterwards. Who changes the prices, who updates the site, who answers if something goes down.

A quote that doesn't say how it handles these five things isn't telling you what the website costs. It's telling you what it costs to start.

The number almost nobody looks at: what you pay every month

A website you pay a monthly fee for isn't more expensive or cheaper. It's a different sum, and you have to do all of it: what you pay a month, times twelve, times the years you plan to keep it.

And it isn't just the website. If your bookings, your calendar or your catalogue live on a platform that charges every month or per customer, that's also part of what being online costs you. In this calculator you tick what you pay and see what goes out every year.

The other question is what happens the day you stop paying. We checked each platform's own help pages in what happens to your website and domain when you stop paying. It was written for portfolios, but Squarespace and Wix are in there, and people use them for every kind of website.

What to ask before comparing quotes

This applies to us and to anyone who quotes you.

  1. What's included and what isn't, in writing? Pages, languages, system, texts, photos, rounds of changes.
  2. Whose name are the domain, the code and the data in? What you want to hear: yours.
  3. What happens if I stop paying for maintenance? The site stays yours and keeps working. If the answer is that it goes down, you're renting.
  4. Can I change texts, prices and photos myself, without emailing you? If every change is an email to the agency, every change is an invoice.
  5. How much does anything outside the quote cost? Get them to tell you before they do it, not on the invoice.
  6. When does the timeline start? Usually once the material has been delivered. Better to know on day one.
  7. Are SEO and AEO included or extra? In ours they're included. What AEO is and what actually works is in our AEO guide.

When you don't need a custom website

With the same honesty: if you're starting out, your business does fine on social media and you rarely change anything, a simple page or a website builder may be enough. The one thing we recommend in any case is that the domain is in your name: it's what lets you change everything else without losing the address your customers already know.

Your own website starts to pay off when the site has to do something (take bookings, show a catalogue, book appointments), when the monthly fee has been leaving your account for years, or when what you pay the platforms is already more than having your own would cost.
